And the days go by.....

Hi Everyone ~

Okay so I've been laggin...I know. Things have just been very busy around here. Plus I won't lie.....I forgot about this thing. However, Chris's mom did not and asked that I post again. So here I am. Besides, it's almost thereaputic to post on this thing. I don't need to worry won't anyone's responses to what I say, because they're not here and it's good to just type.

So with that said let me start. Things have been going good. Not great or fantastic but good. I am still going to school however I'm in new classes. I have officially 7 classes right now but it only works out to be 16 credit hours. So really it isn't crazy! One of them is over as of next Friday. It was a five week course that met every day from 9:00am - 4:3opm. Very accelerated and I'll be happy to be finished with it. I have been starting the process to begin student teaching in August. For instance, tonight I went and had to get fingerprinted. Ottawa University has a lady come and fingerprint you for $10 and than you mail in a form with another $52 to the state. So paying the lady $10, I expected some service ya know? All she did was hand me a form tell me how to fill it out (which if I might add was very confusing and well heck a pain in the @ss.) and than she pressed me delicate fingers into stamp and rolled them onto paper. For $10 I could do that. So I made it a little bit more challenging by not relaxing my fingers (okay not really because I don't know how to relax them) and she even had to pull out here little magnifying scope and look them over and redo one. So do I feel she earned the $10? No but that didn't matter. Had to pay anyway.

I also went and picked up Tax Pro tonight. I just want to get my taxes done and the refund in the bank (positive thinking...try it). Hopefully it will be a refund anyway. Work has been going okay..it's work.

On a positive note, I got to see my sister-in-law Shannon and my niece Elizabeth a couple of weekends ago. That was fun. Chris ended up getting his wisdom teeth pulled that weekend (which is a whole story in itself) so he didn't get to see them. But I went out and hung, Elizabeth and I colored. Now that was fun. It brought me back to days when I used to sit around and just color. That was probably the most fun and relaxation I've had in a long time. Plus I got to hang with Elizabeth. (Who is a very talanted colorist I might add).

So as I mentioned Chris got his wisdom teeth pulled. He had two impacted and than two regular ones. He went in on a Friday so I didn't get to hang with him because I had school. So I dropped him off and than my friend, Robert from work picked him up. Which I guess was fun because Chris was so full of drugs all he did was keep giving Robert the double thumbs up sign. I crack up just thinking about it because I can totally see it (Sorry Chris, I'm not making fun...I'm sure it was cute.) But it turned out after a weekend of torture he had two dry sockets where the impacted teeth were. To make a long story short, a week later he was still in pain and on medication. So anyone who says the dentist isn't that bad does not know what they speak of.

But that is about it. I'm not lying when I say it's work and school for both Chris and I. He goes Tuesday - Thursday from 6:30pm - 10:00pm after doing a work day of about 12 hours. I think he's getting tired. ;o) However, 5 of my classes are online so I can't sit at home and do the work. Which is very nice...you need to be very disciplined however to really be successful. I haven't been doing bad at all so it works for me.

Well I hope all is well with everyone. I love you and miss you all. Till next time.
Love, Kate
